Mr. Wiechman

Mr. Wiechman has been at Shoreland since the 2000-01 school year when he arrived as the new assistant principal and guidance director. In the summer of 2001, he received and accepted the Call to be full-time principal.
Prior to serving at SLHS, Mr. Wiechman was an emergency math teacher and coach at Martin Luther Prep School, one of our former WELS training schools. He also served as principal, teacher and coach at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and school in Omaha, NE, from 1992-2000. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN (1992), and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (1999).
Mr. Wiechman is married to Beth Sievert (DMLC 1991). They have three children: Claire (born in 1994), Seth (born in 1996), and Sam (born in 1998). They are members at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Racine.
Hobbies of Mr. Wiechman include trying to work on his home in Racine, a historic brick model built in 1908, fishing in his boat, and golfing ravenously.
